Description:

One-stop materials utility: list materials to the message window, export materials to Excel, find duplicate materials and merge them. v2.4 consolidation of List Materials, Mats to Excel, plus new merge-duplicates capability.

Use Instructions:

Run the tool. Pick operation: List (message window), Export to Excel (file picker), or Find & Merge Duplicates (interactive).

• Find & Merge: walks all materials, groups by E / G / nu / rho match (configurable tolerance), prompts per-group to pick a keeper. Element references via prop.matlID get re-pointed to the keeper.

Requirements:

Open FEMAP model with materials defined.

Notes:

Per-layer PCOMP material refs (feProp.plyMatlID) are NOT remapped in v1.00 — flagged for v1.01. The merged material is not auto-deleted; clean up via Delete Mats after confirming the merge looks right.
